What information will my Final Inspection Report contain?

Modified on Fri, 6 Mar at 1:42 PM

A full copy of the Final Inspection Report will be emailed to you by the Inspection Company, otherwise called the Wind Certification Entity (WCE). If you have any questions about your report, please reach out to the Inspection Company directly. Their phone number and email will be on the email sent by the Program when your Inspection Application was approved.

Each Final Inspection Report will contain the following:

  1. Cover Page
  2. Final Inspection Results
  3. Attachments
    1. Form OIR-B1-1802 (Uniform Mitigation Verification Inspection Form) signed by both the WCE and the Homeowner
    2. Final Inspection photographs and documents

The Inspection Company will record notes and report improvements that they observed during the Final Inspection.

The following sample image demonstrates what this table may look like in the Final Inspection Report. The table will vary by home and depend on what the Inspector observes.

PLEASE NOTE: Once the Final Inspection is completed, the Homeowner must submit the Final Inspection Report to their insurance provider requesting potential discounts. You do not need to receive a discount in order to receive your payment. However, you must submit the insurance company’s response (email, letter, etc.), even if no discount is applied
