What is a Request for Information (RFI)?

Issues identified during review will be sent by email to the Applicant as a Request for Information (RFI). The email will list what information is needed and include instructions on how to submit documentation. RFI Responses must be received within 60 days, otherwise the Application will be deemed withdrawn and administravely closed. 


IMPORTANT NOTE: Applicants will respond in different formats depending on if you are in MSFH 1.0 or 2.0. Please see chart below for further instructions.

"Inspection Not Approved, Pending Applicant Response"

HOW TO RESPOND TO RFI IN MSFH 1.0:

Follow the instructions and the link provided in the email you received. Applicants will complete a form and have the ability to attach requested documentation to be reviewed by a Case Manager. Re-enter the Applicant Portal and complete the RFI step that is available to you. Example: Applicants sent an RFI regarding Inspection Application will have an "Inspection App Requests for Information" step opened for them. The step will include the ability to upload requested documentation to be reviewed by a Case Manager. 



Once the Applicant has responded, the information will be reviewed by a Case Manager.
