I am in the middle of switching insurance plans in a few months in the middle of this grant process. I will have the same coverage just a different carrier. Will this affect my case?

No, this in itself would not affect your case at this time. You are allowed to change insurance carriers during the grant process as long as you maintain continuous coverage and the required insurance remains in effect. Please ensure there is no lapse in coverage and that documentation for the new policy is provided, if requested, once the change is complete.
