Once you receive Grant approval, you have 1-year to request a MSFH Final Inspection. Applicants request an Inspection in the Applicant Portal by clicking the "Submit Final Inspection Request" button on the "Draw Request - Final Inspection Request" step.
However, prior to expiration of a Grant, Homeowners may request a 6-month time extension. My Safe FL Home Program cannot guarantee future approvals as funding is limited. If approved, only one grant extension will be allowed. Subsequent requests for additional extensions will not be approved.
