Applicants are sorted into different Groups based on their age, how many people live in the home, and total household income. For the first 60 days after the MSFH Program starts, people can get access to the Inspection and Grant Applications based on rules set by the Florida Legislature.
- Grant Group 1 – Applicants who are aged 60+ and qualify as Low-Income
- Grant Group 2 – Applicants of any age who qualify as Low-Income
- Grant Group 3 – Applicants who are aged 60+ and qualify as Moderate Income
- Grant Group 4 – Applicants of any age and qualify as Moderate Income
- Grant Group 5 – Applicants of any age that make more than the Moderate-Income limits
Based on funding, people in Group 5 may be able to fill out the Inspection Application. However, Group 5 Applicants cannot receive Grant funds and will not be allowed to fill out the Grant Application.
