Hi Jessica,
This task is intended as a reminder on your case that you MUST request a Final Inspection prior to this deadline, or your grant will be considered closed. The due date listed on this task is the end of your grant period. Once you have requested a Final Inspection, you can "Complete" the task.

I had my final inspection yesterday and I uploaded the report to the "task" matching grant-final inspection request deadline. The details section of this task say in all caps "DO NOT MARK THIS TASK AS COMPLETE." What am I supposed to do here?

Once you confirm with your contractor that the mitigation project is complete, and double check that all permits have been approved, the next step is to request a final inspection. The final inspection request is completed on the “Draw Request – Final Inspection Request” step. Each homeowner will only have one opportunity to request a final inspection.
