Once a Homeowner has applied and been approved for a free Hurricane Mitigation Inspection, a licensed Inspector, contracted by the Program will be assigned to complete the Initial Inspection.
However, please remember that Recommended Improvements and Grant Applications must be based on Hurricane Mitigation Inspections and reports acquired through the My Safe FL Home Program. Previously completed Home Inspections NOT completed by the Program will not be considered.

The Applicant Portal can be accessed at any time by going to https://mysafeflhome.com and clicking the “Access Account” button.
Applicants who HAVE NOT yet received a MSFH Initial Inspection are able to complete the Prioritization Questionnaire in MSFH 2.0 to be sorted into an Inspection Group for accessing the Inspection Application.
Once you submit your Prioritization Questionnaire, your case will be sorted into a Prioritization Group. Your Prioritization Group will determine the date an application will be available to you. If the MSFH Program runs out of available funding prior to the date your Group is to be opened, you will not be able to apply for an Inspection or Grant.

On the "Household Income" Step in the Prioritization Questionnaire, you will be asked to enter your household's annual adjusted gross income. Adjusted Gross Income (AGI) can be found on line 11 of Form 1040, U.S. Individual Income Tax Return. The total, annual AGI of all Household Members for the previous year should be calculated. If everyone in your household did not file together, you can enter each member’s income individually to calculate the total Household AGI. ALL income, including Social Security payments and income not made by owners of the home, should be added to this step
The Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) sets income limits that determine eligibility for assisted housing programs. These income limits vary by county. To determine income eligibility, please click this link: Income Limits | HUD USER

What if I clicked that I am not a senior and I actually am? Any way to fix that? That puts me in group 2 instead of 1.

I applied for the grant that opened up today, August 4. I submitted the questionnaires. But it won’t let me apply for the wind-mitigation inspection. Every time I click on apply now it takes me back to my page with the questionnaires.? What do I need to do next?

I have not applied before and when I go to the website, it doesn’t show me apply now button. I’ve been under Participant Portal and nothing is offered . It was suppose to open today. I touch the red Get Readier button and it doesn’t have an apply now button, either

Please define Low Income vs moderate income household. For application purposes, I don't know if I apply under the low income group or moderate income group..
