Task Notification: Inspection Group 1-5 Assigned

Modified on Fri, 26 Sep at 12:55 PM

Once cases are prioritized into the appropriate Inspection Group (1-5) for accessing the Inspection Application, cases may also have a Task Notification appearing on the case. This notification will appear on BOTH on your dashboard and in the “Tasks” section to the left of your screen.

This is a helpful notification that your case has been moved into one of the Inspections Groups (1-5). If you are interested in applying for an Inspection, we recommend applying as soon as possible. Completing your application by the due date on this notification is a suggestion, not a requirement. The Program cannot guarantee that funding will still be available if you delay.

Your Prioritization Group determines the date an Inspection or Grant Application will be made available to you, assuming funding is still available. If the MSFH Program runs out of available funding prior to the date your Group is to be opened, you will not be able to apply for an Inspection or Grant.

Example of "Active" Task Notification in Applicant Portal:

Once you submit your Inspection Application and see your status has changed to “Inspection Application Submitted,” you may mark this task as Complete.

Please note that you will continue to receive system reminders for Task Notifications until you click the blue button at the bottom of the screen titled “Complete & Submit Task” and “Continue”.

Example of "Complete" Task Notification in Applicant Portal:

After clicking continue, a green pop-up will briefly display saying task is complete. The task will now show as complete.

If you complete this task in error, it has no negative impact on your case status or Application in the system. You can always return to view the information provided from completed tasks in the “My Tasks” section.
