If the MSFH Program is unable to approve an application, you will be sent a Request for Information (RFI). This is an email or task outlining the additional information or documentation needed to move forward in processing the case.
If you do not respond to the Request for Information (RFI) within 60 days, the application will be deemed withdrawn and administratively closed. Closed cases cannot be reopened, so ensure you check your case and your email regularly.
Applicants will respond in different formats depending on if you are in MSFH 1.0 or 2.0.
If your case status in the Applicant Portal (Neighborly) is any of the following:
"Inspection Not Approved, Pending Applicant Response"
"Grant EC Not Approved, Pending Applicant Response"
"Contractor Not Approved, Pending App Response"
"Draw Request Not Approved, Pending App Response"
Then you will need to follow the instructions and the link provided in the email you received. Applicants will complete a form and have the ability to attach requested documentation to be reviewed by a Case Manager.
If your case status in the Applicant Portal (Neighborly) is any of the following:
"Inspection RFI Response Pending"
"Grant RFI Response Pending"
"Pending Draw RFI Response"
Re-enter the Applicant Portal and complete the RFI step that is available to you. The Applicant Portal (Neighborly) can be accessed online using the following link: Applicant Portal Login Page
Example: Applicants sent an RFI regarding Inspection Application will have an "Inspection App Requests for Information" step opened for them. The step will include the ability to upload requested documentation to be reviewed by a Case Manager.
