Task Notification: Indicate Interest in Grant App

Modified on Fri, 26 Sep at 12:50 PM

While in the status "Indicate Interest in Grant Application," cases may also have a Task Notification appearing on the case. This notification will appear on BOTH on your dashboard and in the “Tasks” section to the left of your screen.

This is a helpful notification on your case as a reminder that you MUST alert the Program that you

are interested in proceeding with a Grant Application if you want to be able to access a Grant Application. If you are interested in applying for a Grant, we recommend completing this step as soon as possible. Completing this step by the due date on this notification is a suggestion, not a requirement. The Program cannot guarantee that funding will still be available if you delay.

Example of "Active" Task Notification in Applicant Portal:

To indicate your interest in a Grant Application, thoroughly read and complete the Grant Indication of Interest step. Once you see your status change to “Pending Grant Group Sorting,” you may mark this task as Complete.

Please note that you will continue to receive system reminders for Task Notifications until you click the blue button at the bottom of the screen titled “Complete & Submit Task” and “Continue”.

Example of "Complete" Task Notification in Applicant Portal:

After clicking continue, a green pop-up will briefly display saying task is complete. The task will now show as complete.

If you complete this task in error, it has no negative impact on your case status or Application in the system. You can always return to view the information provided from completed tasks in the “My Tasks” section.
