What should I do if I have a dispute with my Contractor over the project work performed?

If there is a problem with the work done by the Contractor, the Homeowner and the Contractor must resolve the matter with each other

PLEASE NOTE: My Safe Florida Home Program and the Florida Department of Financial Services (DFS) are not involved in or responsible for the Contractor selection process or any aspects of the construction and payment process. The Program assumes no responsibility for the performance of the Homeowner’s selected Contractor. It is the sole responsibility of the Homeowner to find and manage an eligible Contractor and oversee the Contractor relationship.
